Raised Flower Beds & Retaining Walls
Alston, Cumbria
This garden project in Cumbria is a good example of what can be done with a relatively small area. As you can see from the 'before' photo it has been radically transformed.
Clients Graham and Sue were keen to discuss their plans and we shared ideas of what was going to be possible and cost effective. We built some large retaining walls for shelter, fronted with some curved raised flower beds.
Two circular patios were laid, together with pathways, gravel and rockeries. Two stone arches, and interlocking circular planters were also constructed. After I had completed the hard landscaping, Graham and Sue got going with the planting and few weeks later the results spoke for themselves.
