Drystone Walling Regeneration Project

Nenthead, Cumbria

As part of a renovation and regeneration project in my home village of Nenthead, I was asked to build over one hundred meters of drystone walling using local Alston sandstone.

The project was run by UPM Tillhill and was on behalf of Cumbria County Council. The stonework was a large part of the project that ended up winning a BALI national landscape award.

The awards showcase the high levels of professionalism attained by members of the British Association of Landscape Industries.
